About Dog Training With Laura Mars

With over two decades of working with humans, as a registered Social Work practitioner, and 11 years as a Senior Social Worker in Learning and Development, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals in their personal and professional growth. This experience has given me a deep appreciation for how people learn and the vital role that structured learning materials play in helping them reach their goals.

My academic background includes a Master's in Adult Learning Theory, which has equipped me with the skills to mentor and guide both dog owners and aspiring trainers. As a Senior Trainer Student Mentor with The Dog Training College, I have worked closely with many learners at different stages of their journey, helping them build confidence and develop their skills. Through this work, I have seen first-hand the importance of clear, engaging, and accessible learning materials—whether in the form of handouts, guides, or structured exercises—to support understanding and long-term success.
